Jerome Streets opens up on voting, election day and more.

As we all know, election day is coming up. As everyone puts their 2 cents in along with their votes, Jerome Streets decides to let his view be known.
On Voting:
I'm not voting. I've dealt with judgement from others, including parts of my family, long thoughts and tried to push myself to do it. I still decide not to vote. Don't think just because I'm young, I don't know what goes on & how it would affect me. Trust me I know. I find it pointless to depend on one person in the world, unless that person is god. Times been hard, all the time, everywhere, and won't make a difference to me after election day. I already know Romney doesn't care about us, including blacks, and my feelings to him are mutual. I already know that Obama has had a hard time cleaning up Bush's mess from before, and I respect him for it. I'm not counting on someone who just wants more power to corrupt the world even more. Even after election day, it will still be violence in local neighborhoods, people struggling to survive, the same old stuff I see everyday. If I have to struggle even more just because I don't want to vote, I'll take it. Even though I won't like it, I rather struggle and die for what I believe in then let the system take that away from me. I'm not telling you to not vote. I'm just letting you see my perspective. I want the people to vote, and I respect them for it because you people do what I can't. I can do it if I tried, and I did, but I can't go against my beliefs. While most people depend on one single person to make things better, others, just like me, are going against the grain. While people wait to see who wins, I'll probably be recording, producing or writing while I still got it all. I plan on doing better than the president one day, not look up or depend on him. I'm sorry if this hurts the viewers, but we all have our views and I have no regrets. I wish you all the best of luck and pray you get what you asked for. I have no hope for this generation or the government, just myself, god and the blessings he has blessed me with.
