Upset that Wiz Khalifa & Curren$y had to push back their new mix tape #LiveInConcert because of sampling issues, Jerome Streets snapped on twitter about lawsuits over free samples that are non-profit.

"I'm not doing this for no type of fame. I'm doing this because of how these crazy lawsuits keep popping up like crazy. For example, Mac Miller's recent lawsuits over his "Macadelic" mix tape. Just like Wiz' & Curren$y's new project, It's free. I say once again FREE. They put out these mix tapes for free on legal mix tape websites. It's not like the get money for every download. And beside the fact people would recognize these samples and they will forever live on, Why would you sue? For years & generations musicians have done samples, most probably non-profit, and didn't worry about lawsuits. I can understand if a whole track length is sample, but it's said any sample that is use for non-profit or live shows can be used without lawsuit (click here for the article SECTIONS: WHEN SAMPLING IS REQUIRED & DEFENDING A LACK OF SAMPLE CLEARANCE). This can alternate at times. Now I question for a song i wrote, which was a sample & dedication to the song "Chief Rocka" By Lords Of The Underground. Will I possibly see a lawsuit now? The mix tape is game crazy now.
